Claw toes

Claw toes are toes that are bent into an abnormal, painful position. Claw toe does not affect the big toe, and often affects the four small toes at the same time. The toes bend up at the joint, causing the toes to curl downward.

Some solutions to Claw Toes includes changing to footwear with more room in the toes, filing down calluses and corns, and padding the toes often to relieve the pain. A podiatrist may also recommend a custom orthotic to help control the muscle/tendon imbalance and alleviate the pain.
